#184 Walnut, Butternut, Quilted Maple 18”h x 15”d

The unique diagonal cut and placement of walnut around the neck of this hand-carved turning creates the appearance of a three-dimensional appearance; a difficult illusion to achieve. Also hand carved is the diamond shapes in the center ring. The silky luster of butternut and dimensional appearing quilted maple complete the design of this 18’ x 15” turning.

Zebrawood, in its various forms, defines this turning. The neck, the upper and lower sections, the teardrops and center ring show the uniqueness of zebrawood’s patterns when masterly cut and creatively applied. A swirling maple pattern presents a beautiful background for the center ring, which is highlighted with the white grain of holly and dark lines of pearwood. Brazilian cherry in the top rim, above and below the center ring and the base completes the creative piece. Regal looking, it measures 21” x 15”.

#188 Brazilian Cherry, Zebrawood, Purpleheart 22”h x 15”d

In this award-winning turning, Brazilian cherry’s luster above and below the center ring is highlighted with zebrawood’s unique lines and purpleheart’s amazing color. Delicately delineating the woods in this is a thin white line of holly. This piece measures 22” x 15”.
